Webster County Senior Citizens' Services Fund Board -
The Webster County Senior Citizens' Services Fund Board was created in April 2007, when the voter of Webster County passed a five cent per hundred assessed valuation property tax levy to provide services to citizens of Webster County 60 years of age and older. A seven-member board, representing all major geographic areas of the county, was appointed by Webster County Commissioners to administer the fund. Though the Board is not able to provide direct services to individual seniors, the Board contracts with providers of services for Webster County seniors. Funds will be provided for the creation of new programs based upon the needs of Webster County seniors or provided for supporting the expanding existing senior programs. Proposed programs must be designed or maintained to help our senors remain independent and at home.
Applications have been approved for funding transportation services, specifically, in the Seymour and Rogersville areas; in home work and personal care services; and repairs and updates to the Seymour, Marshfield and Rogersville Senior Centers.

The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Health services are offered such as, a foot care clinic (open every second Thursday), blood pressure checks (every first Monday) and the use of fitness equipment.
Many activities are also offered. Performances are given by local singers and the Older American's Center Band and Bingo is held every Monday afternoon (12:30 - 1:30 p.m.). Meals are provided dailty Monday through Friday beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a Meals on Wheels program is also available.
